Membership
The
Master Gardener course is an educational and
volunteer
opportunity offered by the Alabama
Cooperative Extension System. You may apply online or download an application in Microsoft Word (which can be filled in on your computer and e-mailed) or pdf format (for manual entry and surface mailing). Send the completed document to

Certified Master Gardeners are eligible to hold office and participate in all activities and events of the association. State association dues are $5 and Jefferson County dues are $12, payable by the end of each calendar year. Master Gardeners must also fulfill community service and educational requirements yearly.
Non-certified Master Gardeners are considered Provisional members being elevated to full membership upon certification of hours and payment of dues.
Membership Transfer
We welcome transfer members! An Alabama Certified Master Gardener from another Alabama county may join the Jefferson County Master Gardener Association by providing proof of state certification and paying annual dues.
Annual Dues
Please send checks for 2009 dues made out to JCMGA, to Anne Thomas, Treasurer, 1487 Jones Road, Springville, AL 35146. The dues are $17.00 per year.
