Interns, April Wiliams, Melissa Gray, Mary Ellen Snell, Robert Vann and Roxanne Wallace worked with the City of Birmingham, P.D. Jackson-Olin Horticulture Scholars, Woodlawn Jones Valley Farm Scholars and the Bush Hills Community Garden Committee to preparet teaching/row garden with a proper pH balance and nutrients for spring/summer crops. They created a planting and maintenance plan for herbs, vegetables, fruits and pollinator plants in existing raised beds. They created a landscaping, planting and maintenance plan for a Therapeutic Garden and installed the Therapeutic Garden.
